FSAE EV HV Battery
Thermal/Energy Modeling, packaging, and integration.
Thank you for visiting my website! Iām a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at San Diego State University. I have a passion for problem solving and building cool stuff. I am looking for a full-time role starting in summer 2026.
I have a combined year of professional experience across several internships. At Tesla, I worked on the Robotaxi integration team, this was a great mix of mass production design and project managment experience. Last summer I joined Amidon Heavy Industries, a pre-seed startup building fleets of autonomous underwater and surface robots for commercial ocean-infrastructure monitoring; I had a lot of ownership and hands-on build/test.
Iām currently at Kunin, a pre-seed startup where Iām responsible for modeling, fluids analysis, and BOM/CAPEX buildout for a spiral-wound, nanofiber-based ion-exchange module for selective ionic separations. The technology will be initially deployed in the mining industry. In parallel to this I have just started my capstone project on behalf of the US Navy - Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific where I will be working on mechanical RF-steering using a patch antenna on a gimbal for jam-resilient swarm communications for small UAS.
In addition to my professional engineering experience I spent 3 years on my school's FSAE EV team Aztec Electric Racing, serving as a Senior Engineer and the Vice President managing a six figure budget. I also particpated in my schools startup accelerator, ZIP Launchpad, and was an investor for a So-Cal based angel syndicate, Crater Ventures.
In my spare time, I enjoy participating in triathlons, skiing and sailing. I also love traveling, cooking, good food and going to the beach with my friends!
